Al Noor challenged by increase number of Orphans The Al Noor Orphanage is facing a number of challenges in its current year of operation. With the increase of HIV/AIDS epidemic there has been an increase in the number of orphans left behind.

We take pride in our humanitarian work in our community and only the best skilled labour are used on all projects.
We have to provide accommodation for children, cater for their daily needs which include educational, medical, food, clothing and recreational needs. The management has drafted an operational budget that will enable the Center to face the current increase of its services to the community. We need to increase staff, get better salary for the staff, and buy more facilities both educational and social to be able to cater for the orphans.
Community Appeal We kindly request your humble support and please support us by sending this appeal to other people and communities you know who can help us with ideas, donation in cash and/or kind. The issue of education in the Center takes a central stage as some of the children can only communicate in their mother tongue..
The training & education in the Center is conducted in the English language. We equally need more qualified teaching staff in these fields to help bridge the gap. The Skills Training department also needs more facilities in terms of computers , sewing machines, stoves, and cookers with baking ovens in order to empower the orphans with practical skills.
